MPSC stands for the Maharashtra Public service commission.It organises the examinations for the top administrative positions in Maharashtra state government.

The eligibility criteria differs for different posts under MPSC .Here the eligibility for the state civil services are:

~~You have to have bachelor's degree in any discipline from the university that is recognised by the UGC.

~~Final year candidates are also allowed to give the MPSC examinations.


Now coming to age limitations:

The age limit for general category is from 21-33 years .For OBC it is 21-35 years and for SC/ST is 21-38 years.

For appearing in MPSC exam, you must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

The upper age limit is 33 years for the general category candidates.
The upper age limit for the OBC candidates is 35 years and that for the SC/ST is 38 years.

The MPSC exam consists of two sections –
1.Preliminary exam and
2.Main exam.

Each exam consists of two papers.

The candidates can procure the application form and the prospectus from the concerned post offices on a payment of Rs. 100/-.
The candidates can view the location of the post offices on the official website of MPSC.
The fee for the general category is Rs. 400/- and it is Rs. 200/- for the OBC candidates.
