Qualification required for food inspector (mpsc) examination
What is the qualification of food inspector (mpsc) examination and what is the date of examination ? I also want previous question paper of mpsc food inspector examination.Please tell me the syllabus of mpsc food inspector.

It is a very very good opportunity for you ,because the examination is in 2011. Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts Recruitment Exams for Assistant Commissioner in Food . Qualification: You should have a degree in Medicine, and received minimum 1 Month’s training in Food Inspection from the Central Government or the State Government . Age: The maximum age can be 40 years. Selection: You will be selected through Written Test followed by Personal Interview and according to the rule and regulation of the Govt of India. The date of publishing the application form,date of exam are yet to be released,all updated news will be released from its official site http://www.mpsc.gov.in Exam Pattern and Syllabus: Maximum Marks : 150 Duration : One and Half Hour Paper : Objective type 1) Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology (40 Marks) 2) Microbiology (20 marks) 3) Biochemistry & Chemistry of drugs / Pharmaceuticals (40 Marks) 4) General Knowledge related to Pharmaceuticals / Medicine field (25 marks)- 5) Intelligence Test (25 Marks): Questions will be asked to test how far candidates can think quickly Viva - Voce and Personality Test :- The candidates who will qualify in the Screening Test and who are eligible for the post . all other details you will get from its official website:http://www.mpsc.gov.in. Botany Chemistry Zoology biotechnology Agriculture Microbiology Biochemistry and other related branches of science |

YOu can appear for the exam of different state pCS exam along with the exams which are conducted by FCI (Food Corporation of India)

1-Candidate should be graduate from recognized University or Institution or its equivalent
2-Candidates should possess at least 120 hours course with working experience in the use of Personal Computers or Information Technology in office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified. Or A computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate |

Qualification Criteria for the Food Inspector Exam:
Graduates in medicine who have gone through training in food inspection are qualified to attend the test. Otherwise, the aspirants should have completed the bachelors’ degree in any of the science subjects. They must have studied Chemistry as a subject in their qualifying course. Graduates in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Food Technology / Dairy Technology are also eligible to apply for the test. Only aspirants from certified Universities are qualified for the exam. Those who are having an equivalent degree can also apply for the test. Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts various Recruitment Exams every year.The application form can be downloaded from the official website of MPSC and can buy from designated Post Offices. |

Eligibility for Food Inspector exam are as follows: - 1. Pass graduation in any subject / in any engineering stream from a regonised institute / university. 2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates. 3. General Science 2. Current Events of National nad International Importance. 3. History of India. 4. Indian National Movement. 5. Indian Polity and Economy. 6. World Geography and Population. (2) Second Paper – Main Subject: – 1. Definition and standards of Food quality. Proximate analysis of Foods, Fat, Protein, Carbohydrate, Vitamins, Minerals Fibres and Water, Human Nutrition, Major and Minor Nutrients and their role, Deficiency Diseases. 2. Fruits, Vegetables and Plantation products:- Definition, Classification, Juices, Pulps, Powder & Extracts, Squash, Cordials, RTS_Beverages etc., Jam, Jellies & Marmalades, Puree, Paste and Concentrates. Ketchups, Sauce & Pickles, Still & Carbonated Beverages. Tea, Coffee and Chocolates, Spices, Quality tests of above food products. 3. Cereals, Pulses and Oil-Seed products:- Definition and Classification of wheat, Rice, Pulses & Oil seed products. Flour, Bread, Biscuits, Cake and other Baked Items. Dehulled legume-Pulses. Vegetable Oil- Refined & Hydrogenerated etc. 4. Animal Food Products: Fluid Milk and its various kinds.
