For the post of drug inspector you need to appeaer state public service commission examination.
Eligibility criteria more or less same. Age Should not be more thatn 35 years. the upper age limit should not apply to the employee of Govt of maharashtra Qualification Must posses a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry or medicine with specialization with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology Must posses practical experience in testing and manufacture of drugs. The PSC carries out the exam for the post of drug inspector. The age of the candidate must not be more than 35 years. The education qualification requirement is to have a Degree in pharmacy or its equivalent.

Hi, I finished my Bpharmacy. I want to write Drug inspector exam. Whan does the notification will be displayed every year. what will be the sysllabus. how many posts will be there on an avarage? does this exam will be conducted every year?

hi friend..
for your information..central government recommends that there should be at least one drug inspector for every 25 manufacturing units and 100 selling establishments..and there for at least 2907 drug inspector in the country is required for now.. so you have lots of opportunities to get that jobs.. for that you just have to do the UPSC exam.. some of the basic requirements are you should have a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry,master's degree in chemistry with pharmaceuticals as a special subject. the government also recruit the drug inspectors by conductin examinations.. fro more information you can log into www.tribuneindia.com hope these helps you.. thank you.. |

i m complete D-pharmacy , and graduation with chemistry, vocational course is biotechnology, and my age is 29 , and also working in gov, contract basis job as a pharmacist and in private medical shop as a pharmacist,

There are some qualifications required to become a drug inspector---------------- 1.The candidates should have a degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science with specialization in Clinical Medicine or Microbiology 2.The age limit should be between 21-32 years 3.Age is relaxed for SC/ST/OBC candidates 4.You must be the citizen of India. A graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science is the main qualification required for this position. You need to specialize in subject areas like clinical psychology or microbiology. Those who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the same. Lower age limit is 21 years for this post. Higher age limit is 32 years. To get selection for this post, you need to attend UPSC written examination. If you qualify this written exam, you need to qualify a personal interview stage as well. By logging in to official UPSC site www.upsc.gov.in , you can get further details on this exam.
