Your query has half information. It is tough to give the eligibility for each of the colleges and university for pursuing B.Sc Chemistry.

As admission on the colleges are on the basis of entrance test and board aggregate also. As for your information admission in the Delhi university is on the basis of board aggregate where as in the BHU the admission is on the basis of entrance test.

So you can check the eligibility for each of them. As to apply for the entrance test approx 60% PCM aggregate required. But to get admission in the Delhi University you have to score at least 85% aggregate being a general candidates. There is relaxation for the other category candidates.

For information regarding these visit at www.du.ac.in.

Since the competition is mainly in the top universities so I will be focusing the discussion on the Delhi university and its cut off marks.

See, Bsc Chemistry is a very good course and many students belonging from the science background strives to take this course.

For the colleges of Delhi University of North Campus namely-
- Hindu
- St. Stephens
- Kirorimal
- Gargi college
- Venkatesh
the minimum percentage that you need in your boards is 90%.
This I am taking about the 2nd or 3rd cut off list.

If you want to get sure in the 1st cut off list itself then, you should at least get around 93-95% marks in your intermediate.

But, if you are not able to secure these much marks, then you don't need to to get disheartened. there are many options in the South campus where you will get easily admission with marks ranging from 80% - 90%.

If you expecting even less marks, then in Delhi university you will have to satisfy with the evening batch or then you have to try some other university.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is one of the preferred stream after doing 10+2 in science stream with PCM or PCB subjects.

See, the percentage required to get admission varies from institute to institute. This is not fixed, in some colleges you can get admission even with 60% marks in 10+2 and in some college you will not be able to get admission with even 90% marks.

In some top colleges of Delhi University, even candidates with 90% in 10+2 are not able to get admission.

So it all depends upon in which university and in which institute you are willing to take admission. You need to wait for the CBSE result then see how much you are getting.

After that apply for universities in which you are willing to take admission. Universities release the cut off percentage criteria for different courses of bachelor's degree and if your marks are above that cut off, you can get admission in that course.

To get an admission in B.Sc chemistry, one must have done 12th board from MPC (maths, physics.chemistry) or from BiPC( biology.physics, chemistry) or even both the stream.

The candidate have score 60% in as aggregate marks and 55% in each subjects.

Every insitutute has its own requirement, these percentage do vay from university to university or government to other private college.

So better to score good marks with out any backlog or supplementary.

In B.Sc along with chemistry, candidate has to choose two more subjects as main specializstion.

Say B.Sc in chemistry,maths,physics

Or

B.Sc in chemistry, biochemistry ,biology

Or

B.Sc in chemistry,microbiology,biotrchnology

Or
B.Sc in chemistry,biotechnology,biology etc

B.Sc stands for Bachelor of Science and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course of three years available in many options depending upon the choice and interest of students about a particular subject .

As you are interested to go for your B.Sc course with Chemistry so there is no official rule about a minimum percentage required for opting a particular course .
So you just to be passed in your each subject including chemistry as the main subject in your senior secondary studies .

But there is requirement of high percentage and good knowledge when you look for your further studies with your desired course from top universities having good placements and reputations like Delhi University for which you are required to have around 90% aggregate in your each subjects of 12th .

Also for your admission in the top universities like Banaras Hindu University , Jawahar Nehru University you will have to compete through their respective entrance examination .

But if you do not get very high percentage then there is no need to be worried there are many universities which does not asks for high percentage and provides quality education .

Also for passing in CBSE examinations you are required to secure at least 33% marks in your each paper of 12th boards .
