If you want to join it then you need to apply for the civil services exam after your graduation and then you need to crack it and then according to your rank you can join it..

The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) is a crime detection agency under the Government of India

- Candidates who wish to join the Crime Investigation Department must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)

- Direct recruitment to CID is done through examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.

- The detail information regarding the exam and its syllabus will be available in all leading publications

minimum qualification

- to join as a constable in CID is 10+2 .

- to join as sub inspector and officer post is degree .

- for the course in criminology one should pass class 10+2 with a in arts or science.

- a candidate applying for CID should also posses excellent communication skills

Hello, Hamne 12th pass kiya he or abhi hum B.Com me S.y.B.Com. kar rahe he. hame bhut acha lagta he ki jab koy Crime karne valo ko app log kadak saja dilvate ho. And Jab me chota tha tabse man me yahi chalta tha ki hum bhi C.I.D me juduga aur Crime karne vale aur bhastachar ko jad se nikal denge. I love my India Meri Umid he ki me bhi C.I.D officer banuga.....
