What should I do to become a CID/CBI officer after BSc?
i am studing in b.sc 1st year.i want to be a cid/cbi officer.so what do i have to do for become a cid/cbi officer?
plz plz plz plz suggest me.it's my dream.plz rply........ |

To become a CBI Sub Inspector you need to go through the examination conducted by the SSC Board.The eligibility for the examination is mentioned below:-
Age:-Your age group must be between 20-27 years.Age relaxation of 3 to 5 years is provided for OBC,SC/ST categories. Educational Qualification:-You must be a graduate from a recognized University. For complete details please follow the given link http://www.ssc.nic.in The notification of the exam will relevant details will be mentioned in the weekly journal "Employment News" around the month of April. The exam mainly consists of General Intelligence, General Awareness along with the Arithmetic part.This will be followed by personal interview.If you meet the physical standards then you will be selected for CBI as ASI. |

The fitness test is the last stage of intake of SSC. For CBI sub inspector posts, it includes
a) Height For men - 165 cms. For women - 150 cms. Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms. b) Chest: 76 cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) c) Vision : Eye-sight (with or without glasses) Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye. The physical measurements (including vision test) for candidates will be conducted by the Indenting Department ( Central Bureau of Investigation) after their names are recommended for appointment by the Commission. Only those candidates who fulfill the above specified physical measurements (including vision Test) will be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in CBI. |

While the basic requirements for getting admission into an undergraduate course is kept as a pass at XIIth standard with either Arts or Science background, for Post Graduation one has to be a graduate with science or arts subjects. |

CBI - Central Bureau of Investigation
To join as CBI officer you need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC(Staff selection committee). * Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university. * The age limit must be within 21 to 27 for general category. * The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates. * The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates. Procedure: * Written exam * Interview * Medical exam Attempts: For General category - 4 attempts. For SC/ST category - No limit For OBC category - 7 attempts Best wishes |

to become a CID/CBI officer you must crack the ssc exam Eligibility Criteria for CBI candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream.
