Hello!

As you have have completed your 12th standard so now you are eligible to Apply for NDA:- National Defence Academy. To join Indian You need to appear in NDA exam conducted by UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission of India.

NDA exam held occur twice in a year as NDA-I & NDA-II.

For NDA, your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.

NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

The Eligibility Criteria:

** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class.

** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no an upper age criteria.

** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

** The candidate must be citizen of India.

Last Date of Receipt of Form: 30-01-2012(Monday)

Date of Exam: 15-04-2012(Sunday).

Yes, You are eligible to apply for NDA Examination after completing your 12Th examination.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year.

The Notification of NDA Examination will be declared in this month i.e on 31/Dec/2011.

The last date of apply for NDA Examination : 30/Jan/2012.

The examination will be held on 15/April/2012.

This examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the recruitment of these 3 wings :

>> Army wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air Force Wings

If you have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects then you are eligible to apply for all these 3 wings of NDA.

If you have not study Maths and Physics subject in your 12Th examination then you are eligible only for Army Wings of NDA.

But Only Unmarried Male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible. No upper age relaxation is applicable for any reserved category.

So, Please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination Online, There is no other mode of application should be accepted, You have to pay the fees through SBI NET Banking, Debit card or Credit Card. The admit card will also provide by concerned department online or send to your mentioned e-mail address.

The selection in NDA Examination is based on written test, Personal interview and Medical Test.

Those who cracked all these stages are eligible for NDA Training. You have to be Physically and Medically fit in all the respects. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force).

Your chest should be well developed,
Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms.
The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

Vision standard for Naval candidates :

>> Uncorrected without glass : 6/9
>> Corrected with glass : 6/6
>> Limits of Myopia : -0.75
>> Limits of Hypermetropia : +1.5

Visual standards for Air Force :
-----------------------------
Those who habitually wear spectacles are not eligible for Air Force,
Minimum distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other,
correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia,
Colour vision CP-I Hypermetropia : + 2.0 D Sph,
Manifest Myopia : Nil.
