The first thing I would like to let you know is that the NET (National Eligibility Test) is now held by NTA instead of CBSE. The same examination is held twice every in generally in the month of June and December in online mode.

The basic qualification required for appearing in the same examination is a Master's degree in concerned discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate (or 50% marks in aggregate in case of reserved category candidates) from a recognized university. Candidates pursuing final year of their Master degree course are also eligible.

For updates and details regarding the same examination, you can refer to the link www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. From the same link you can download the past year papers of your relevant paper and syllabus.

No, you are not eligible for NET. The required minimum educational qualification is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.

So, you are not eligible for appearing in the examination after bachelor degree and need to possess master degree. No, upper age limit to appear in the examination.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
