NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by National testing Agency for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for NTA NEET exam is 12th passed from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Minimum of 50% marks in board exam is required for this examination. NEET examination of 720 marks where there are 180 questions of four marks each and there is negative marking also.

In order to get admission in top colleges, you must aim to score above 600 marks. Scoring above 600 marks will make you eligible for admission in top government medical colleges. The cut off marks varies from year to year. Your ultimate aim should be to score as much as possible.
