What to study after B.Sc Optometry for becoming an Eye Specialist?

I have successfully completed my B.Sc in Optometry. Now, what should I study further in order to become an eye specialist? Is Masters in Optometry available? Or, is there any other better course available?

Eye Specialists are widely known as Optometrist. Now a days, this profession becomes more popular due to the number of patients having eye problems is increasing. So, definitely it is a good choice to become an Eye Specialist.

I have written the procedure to become an eye specialist.

Procedure to become Eye Specialist:

>> Do a bachelors degree in biological science related subject or in any medical course.

>> Pursue Doctor of Optometry (O.D) programme after completing the bachelor course.

>> After getting OD degree, candidates must pass all sections of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry exam.

>> Obtain a license to practice in whatever state you’ll be employed in. Check to see if that state requires an additional clinical exam.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
