B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical /Power/Control & Instrumentation Engineering discipline from a recognized university



Exam Pattern & Syllabus :

Part I : No of questions 60
basic maths / basic science / language / analytical reasoning / data interpretation
Part II : No of questions 30
General Engineering
Part II : No of questions 90
subject specialization paper in the line with qualifying exam
The candidates should select one group only
Comman group : allowed specialisations in the qualifying degree examinations
G-I : Mechanical , Mechanical & Automation , production Engineering & equivalent
G-II : Electrical , Electrical & instrumentation , Electrical & Electronics Engineering & equivalent
G-III : Electronics , Electronics & Communication , Electronics & Telecommunication & Electronics & Instrumentation ENgineering & Equivalent

Important Dates :

Last date for the submission of online application form : 20.04.2012
Last date for receipt of completed application form :05.05.2012
Exam date :10.06.2012 11.00AM to 1.30PM
Declaration of Resultd : 22.06.2012

sir please suggest me the reference books for mechanical for admissions in NPTI PGDC-common entrance test.

AGE LIMIT: For non-sponsored candidates the age limit as on
31/08/2012 is 27 years. Age relaxation in case of reserved
category candidates is as per G.O.I. norms. No age limit for the
sponsored candidates.

ELIGIBILITY: B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/
Electronics/Power/Control & Instrumentation Engineering. Those
appearing in their final year examination can also apply.

What is the process of NPTI??'

Hello ,
this is abhishek
currently in the final year of mechanical engg.
I have heard that there is a process of getting admission in NPTI on the basis of aggregate percentages of BE.
Means there is a merit list on the basis of BE percentages ,which also decides the admission and selection.
If is there anything likewise,plz do reply
