what is the syllabus for ongc programmer trainee..lease tell me the syllabus

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is a reputed oil and gas company in India with its headquarter in Dehradun.

Exam syllabus and pattern for ONGC graduate trainee –
ONGC conducts two papers to recruits on the graduate trainee post. There are objective and descriptive type questions for both papers.

Paper I -
There are 50 questions from general knowledge in the first paper but the aspirants only required attempt the 40 questions. One mark will be consisting for each objective type question right answer. There are will be two descriptive type question also each question carrying on 5 marks for right answer.

Paper II –
Paper second will be from aspirant specialization subject. There are total 100 marks defined for second paper.

There are in second paper will be 75 question aspirants required to attempted only 60 questions. In the second paper 1.5 marks defined for each objective type question right answer and 5 - 5 marks for 2 descriptive type questions answer. The exam will be over on three hours duration.

Salary for ONGC graduate trainee –
Commonly the company provides Rs.24,900 – 50,500/- respective salary for graduate trainee post.

Education qualifications required:

You must have First class(60% marks) Graduation degree in Engineering/BE/B.Tech/MBBS/MBA/ICWA as per the relevant job.For further post wise
eligibility criteria please refer the ONGC Notification 2012.

Pay scale:
ONGC Graduate Trainee Salary,pay scale range is 24,900-50, 500 rupees

Age Limit:
Candidates must have below 30 years as on 26-08-2012 for General category
5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
3 years relaxation in upper age for OBC Candodates
10 years for PWD Candidates for all positions,except drilling and cementing.

Selection Process:
ONGC GT Selection Process is based on Performance in Written exam/psychometric test and interview.The ONGC Syllabus for Graduate trainee has 3 sections, namely general awareness,specialization subject and aptitude test.
