The eligibility criteria for Lecturer is that you should have done post graduation with 55% marks. The name of entrance exams is National Eligibility test. At present is conducted by CBSE.
Being a commerce student, you can specialize in Business Communication or Economics. After Master of Commerce, you will be eligible for NET exam. In case of banking exams, in final year of Bachelor's degree, you can apply for: Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written exam for Clerk and Probationary officer. |

For Lectureship, minimum academic qualification required is master's degree. The percentage of marks in post graduate course is 55%. You can apply for NET and SET for Lectureship. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship.
You can do specialization in your desired topic like Business communication, Economics or Company Law. There is banking entrance exams like IBPS CWE or SBI PO for which you can apply after Bachelor of Commerce. In first stage, you should try to become PO and after certain years of service, you can switch to Lectureship through NET exam. |

At present you are pursuing Bachelor's degree in commerce, the first aim should be to get a stable government job like job in banking sector. In final year of bachelor's degree, you can apply for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written exam for Clerk and Probationary officer in banks.
The age limit for Clerical post is 20-28 years and 20-30 years for post of PO. While working in bank, you can pursue M.Com in distance mode and secure 55% marks at least to become eligible for NET exam later on. If you will not be satisfied with bank job then go for Lectureship. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship. |
