What type of questions are asked for nata drawing test?how should i prepare?

NATA is the national level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture.

NATA Exam Pattern
- It consists of two parts
1) Drawing Test : 100 Marks - 2 Hours
2) Aesthetic Sensitivity Test : 100 Marks - 1 Hour

- Number of Questions : 3
- Total Marks : 100
- Test Duration : 2 Hours

1st Question : Theme Sketch - 50 Marks

Type of Questions in Drawing Test
1) You have to come to tailor's shop to give some clothes for stitching - Draw view from the reception

2) Draw logo to warm public as industry producing harmful gases in residential area.

3) Make an interesting composition using 6 triangle and colour it using warm colors.

4) Draw a traffic signal scene or market scene.

5) A sphere, a cube, a cone is hanging from a tree. Draw an image.

Preparation Tips for NATA Drawing Test
- Go thoroughly for NATA Syllabus and plan out the preparation strategy.
- Focus primarily on technically and deep knowledge of sketching like light effects, shadows, scales and idea of proportions etc.
- Start practice from basic sketching and being efficient for complex sketching.
- Try and practice for neat and innovative sketching.
- Avoid eraser while sketching and focusing on defining curves and cuts in bold.
