National eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by UGC. Those who attend and qualify this exam can apply for teaching career line in government colleges or other universities. Post graduation is required for this. One should also obtain 55% marks in PG level. Maximum age limit is not specified for this exam. One should pass this exam and get a good score in it to apply as lecturers in government colleges.
