The Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] program offered by the Jammu University is a one year academic course offered through various Non-Government Colleges of Education. Candidate who have completed the Bachelors Degree program from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks are eligible to pursue the program. The eligibility criteria for the reserved candidates is 40% aggregate in the qualifying examination. Admission is based on percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. The academic session begins from the month of February.

A candidate admitted to B.Ed course has to pay Rs.25,130 by bank draft issued by nationalized or scheduled bank payable at RCC Jammu in favor of Director Colleges Development, University of Jammu at the time of counselling.
