At present University Grant Commission which conducts National Eligibility Test has not released the dates of NET exam expected to take place in December. Therefore you will have to first wait for the official dates to be released by the UGC.
Mainly University Grant Commission release the date of NET exam which takes place in December in either September of October. The ad is posted in leading newspapers or can be checked online on several websites including the official website of UGC. The advertisement gives complete details such as date of online and offline admission, how to obtain admission form and when the exam will take place. Therefore you will have to wait a while and keep checking the official website of UGC for any details regarding the National Eligibility Test which is conducted for lecturer job in central government colleges. Alternatively you can subscribe to mailing list of some websites that keep students updated about the upcoming exams. This way whenever the dates are released by the University Grant Commission, you will receive an email. Eligibility: 1. To appear in NET, you must be Indian Citizen. 2. People from Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal can also apply but they need to submit a certificate provided from Central Government to verify their eligibility. 3. Only those who have completed post graduation course can apply for the NET exam. 4. Candidates in final year of PG course are also welcomed to apply. But ensure that you submit the degree within 2 years of appearing in the exam else you would be disqualified. 5. You need at least 55 percent marks in PG course to apply for NET exam. 6. Candidates from SC/ST need at least 50 percent marks. 7. In the admission form of NET exam you will have to choose same subject in which you completed masters degree course. 8. There is no age limit for lecturer job. 9. Age Limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years. |

Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited eligible for award AGE LIMIT- 28 years as on 01.06.2012. One can apply in the month of october for NET exam in December.The complete advertisement is published in all the leading newspapers & updated on the website as well.So you can regularly visit on the website to get all the relevant details regarding it.
The candidate can fill the online application Forms & submit the same.The details are furnished on the site as under- http://www.ugcnetonline.in/ The eligibility of the exam is as under- 1. The candidates must have completed Post Graduation in the desired subject. They must have secured Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition. 2. The candidates appearing for last semester exam can even attend NET exam. 3.There is no age limit for lecturer job.But the age Limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years.There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. |
