When to get forms for PRT Teacher in KV?


I would like to apply for prt teacher in kv ,are forms available-2011-12

PRT stands for Primary Teachers. The forms were made available on the website: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Generally the forms are out in the month of November. Keep checking the website for further information.

More Information about PRT:
Pay scale: Rs 9300-34,800/- plus grade pay Rs 4200/-

Upper age limit : 30 years

Essential qualifications:

PRT: Senior secondary school certificate with 50% marks or intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and; diploma or certificate in basic teachers training of duration of not less than two years or bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed) or B.Ed or equivalent; competence to teach through Hindi and English media

Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications

PRT-Music: Degree in Music from a recognized university or higher secondary with any of the following viz Sangeet Visharad of Gandharav Mahavidyalaya, Bombay or Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow or Indira Kala Sangeet Viswa Vidyalaya, Khairagarh (Chhattisgarh), or Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad or equivalent qualification from other recognized institution

Age relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit will be as; no age bar in the case of employees of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan; up to a maximum of 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates; up to a maximum of 3 years in the case of OBC candidates; up to 5 years for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during 01.01.80 to 31.12.89; up to a maximum 5 years for govt servants; Ex-serviceman 3 years; PwD 10 years; up to a maximum of 10 years of women candidates

Examination fee and mode of payment:
General category - Rs. 750/-
No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PH/women candidates

How to apply: The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
