hii, when we can give GATE 2010 ? pls reply

Gate exam will commence on 14th February and u can apply for it after ur graduation or engineering degree or in final year of it

hi dear so sorry to tell u...............u r too late to ask this question.....last date is over now...so try next year..GATE is on 2nd sunday of feb (always)...dont worry yaar good institutes like NIT give addmission also to NON gate institutes on the basis of merit and their on entrance test followed by interview so now try for that..this may be a option for u..

The gate exam is conducted only once in a year and for this year the exam is on feb 14th and the date for application is over and in the month of oct-nov the appplication process will start again for the year 2011 and can apply it at that time.

As a btech student you can give the exam in 3th and 4th year also and for the third year the score is valid for the next two years/.

the dates of gate exams are- Computer based ONLINE Examination for TF paper from 09.30 hrs to 12.30 hrs , sunday, Feb 07, 2010.

Computer based ONLINE Examination for MN paper from 14.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs, sunday, Feb 07, 2010.

OFFLINE Examination for all papers except TF and MN from 09.30 hrs to 12.30 hrs
Sunday, Feb 14, 2010......

you can give the gate exam in the month of feb,and the application form will be out in the month of last oct,and the minimum criteria is that you should be in the 3rd year of engineering course,or you should complete your master degree.

u can give gate only when
Bachelor's degree holders Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

Dear, you are late. Gate 2010 took place on Feb. 14 this year. Results too had been announced.
Try next year.

You can give the GATE exam during the 3rd year and 4th year of the engineering exam or after qualifying the B.Tech.

If you are from the bachlors degree then youcan give it only after completing your masters course.

I can not understand from your given information you wanna know about the GATE 2010,but its the time for GATE 2012.

The most important news in GATE-2012 is that Pre-final year student ca not appear in GATE 2012 exam.

According to the Eligibility of the GATE:

1:You should have a Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy of 4 years after 10+2.

2:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Bachelor Degree.
or
3:You have to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc....

4:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Master Degree.

In this year 2012,the GATE 2012 is organized by Indian Institute of Technology,Delhi

In GATE-2012 you can apply in two way Online & Offline

Date of Online Examination:29-01-2012 (Sunday)

Date of Offline Examination: 12-02-2012 (Sunday)

GATE is conducted for the aspiring Engineers by the gate committee on behalf of the MHRD (MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT).The exam is conducted only once in year.With GATE one can apply foe masters degree and as well as for job opportunities in public sector companies

Few changes are being made in the eligibility requirement for appearing in the exam. by which pre final year students are not eligible for the exam.The requirement are
1.The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree from any discipline.
2.Final year graduate can also apply.
3.The aspirant with masters degree in the field of mathematics,science etc can also apply for the exam.
4. There i no age limit for appearing in the exam
5.There is no restriction in the number of attempts for the exam.
6.The GATE score is valid for a period of two years

For the oncoming year the exam is to be held on 29th January 2012.
The last date for appearing in the exam got over on 24th of October 2011
