I have listed some points about the chandigarh MCM DAV COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Attested copy of the certificate or provisional certificate of the last examination passed by the candidate.


Certificate for date of birth, Matriculation Certificate.


Passport size photograph; pasted on the admission form.


Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.

In case of the student belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward classes, certificate issued by the competent authority to that effect.

A certificate showing that the student has not been disqualified by University / Board / Body / Council.

The candidate are admitted on the basis of their merit / an interview conducted by the college authority. The college reserve the right to refuse admission to an applicant without any reason.

An applicant whose result declared late may seek admission without late fee within 10 days of the date on which the result is declared.

A student whose result of +2 examination conducted by School Board is published late, but not later than 10th August, may be admitted without late fee within 15 working days of the declaration of the result and her attendance will be counted from the date of admission.


Foreign student would be admitted only if they hold regular long-term Students' Stay Visa along with the eligibility certificate.

All admission made to the collage are provisional and subject to approval of Panjab University, Chandigarh. The college is not responsible if the University does not approve of the admission of a candidate due to any reason such as making incorrect or incomplete statements, concealing necessary information or submitting false or incorrect documents etc.
