Hello Sir,
I want to know that when will the JTO exam will be conducted and what is the eligibility for that?

J.T.O. - Junior Telecom Officer.

Scale of Pay : 9850 - 14600

Age limit : must in between 21 to 30(date of application).

Last date of Receipt : 06.04.2009 ( in 2009)

Date of Examination : 21.06.2009

So from the above information it is clear that this examination is held in April is the last date of receipt and June is the date of examination.

BSNL JTO EXAM

JTO 2012 notification will be announce in first week of february.

JTO 2012 eaxm dived in three parts.

1.JTO Telecom
2.Civil
3. JTO Electric

Eligibility:- you should be graduate in Engineering,Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute or university.

Candidates appearing in the final year they can also apply. age should not be more than 30 yearsr(elaxation for obc is 3 year,sc/st is 5 year).

you can take exam both online and offline. application form will be fill in month of march.

Exam will be held last week of April.

BSNL is one of the public sector units and as the new procedure the eligibility for applying for the job has been modified. The new procedure for the selection involves group discussion followed by personnel interview.
The eligibility for applying for the post are
1. The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree in engineering in the field of electrical, computer , radio, physics from a recognised university.
The aspirant should have attempted gate and have a valid gate scope.
2. The minimum age for appearing in the exam is 21. And the maximum age upto which a general category aspirant can attempt is 30 years.
The relaxation is as per government norms of three years for bc and mbc. And five years for sc and st aspirants.
There is on notification yet regarding the vacancy available . But attempt gate so that you will be able to apply for the post. Based on the gate score the aspirant will be called for group discussion.

The next JTO exam will be held in the third week of June 2012. The application form will be available in the months of September and October 2012. You should have completed B.Tech/B.E in Radio/ Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer from a recognized university to appear for the JTO exam. The upper age limit is 30 years. The written exam consists of objective type questions.

Education Qualification for applying in JTO-Telecom is Applicant must possess Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:

i. Telecommunication
ii. Electronics
iii. Radio
iv. Computer
v. Electrical
vi. Information Technology

If You have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University , then eligible for JTO CIVIL department.

If You have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University , then applicable for JTO ELECTRICAL Department.

Final year candidate also applicable for this exam .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category .

Age:

The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:

• Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.

• BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the BSNL

• For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years

• For OBC Candidates upto 3 years

• For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years, (for SC/ST 15 years and for OBC 13 years)
