NDA I for the year 2012 has been already conducted on 15.04.2012.
So, you will have to apply for NDA II, and the application process for the same is yet to begin.

National Defense Academy (NDA) Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year.
The examination which is conducted during the first half of a year is known as NDA I and the one which is conducted in the second half of the year is called NDA II.

The application form for the upcoming NDA Exam (NDA II) 2012 will be available from 05.05.2012.
The last date of submission of the application form will be 04.06.2012.
The examination will be held on 19.08.2012.

The online application form along with complete instructions will be available on www.upsconline.nic.in as per the prescribed date.

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .This exam is conduct for recruitment in - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.You must have Citizenship of India.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

The other Qualification for NDA exam is required is Physical criteria .I have listed the chart of physical criteria .If you have fulfill the physical criteria then you are applicable for NDA exam.





The other Physical criteria are given below-

Running 2-4 Km in 15 minutes.
Skipping
Pushups and sit ups (minimum 20 each)
Chin ups (minimum 08)
Rope climbing 3-4 meters

Date of notification: 22nd December, 2012.

Last date for receipt of applications: 21st January, 2013, Monday.

Date of commencement of exam: 07th April, 2013, Sunday.

Duration: 1 day.

NDA/NA Exam (II), 2013.

Date of notification: 04th May, 2013.

Last date for receipt of applications: 03rd June, 2013, Monday.

Date of commencement of exam: 11th August, 2013, Sunday.

Duration: 1 day.

Here is the eligibility criteria for the NDA entrance exam:-

NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:-
You should be minimum 10+2
Age limit-16-19 Years
You should be an unmarried citizen of india

Exam pattern:

Paper I is mathematics of 300 marks
paper II is the general ability divided into two parts:-
Part A is english of 200 marks
Part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
So total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks
