The application form for the upcoming NDA (National Defense Academy) Examination is already available and the examination has been scheduled on 19.08.2012.

Since the application procedure of NDA Exam is going on, you may apply anytime from now till 04.06.2012.

Eligibility For NDA 2013

The National Defence Academy(NDA) Exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August for recruitment of candidates in the following wings :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

>> Candidate must have completed 12th (with PCM for Navy and Air Force)

>> candidate must have a perfect eyesight and should be physically fit to clear the medical exam..

The candidates who are born no later than 2nd July,1997 are eligible to appear for NDA-1 2013 which is going to be conducted on 7th April,2013

Hence, you are definitely eligible to appear for the NDA-1 2013 as you satisfy the age requirement..

The written exam shall test you on :-

>> General Ability Test
>> Mathematics

following rounds need to be cleared to get recruited :-

>> written test
>> SSB Interview
>> Medical exam

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts NDA Exam twice a year to give admission for the candidates into the following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing.

The selection procedure through which the candidates have to go through to be placed in defence services is by
Written Exam
Interview
Medical Test

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to take this exam is 12th class.

The required age limit will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates will be eligible to take this exam.

For this academic year, NDA I Exam was successfully completed on 14-04-2013.

Here are the important dates regarding NDA II Exam.
Date of commencement of notification :04-05-2013
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 03-06-2013.
Date of NDA II Exam : 11-08-2013.

The 2nd National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) entrance examination will be conducted on 11th August, 2013.

The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should:

Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC.

Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force.

Be an unmarried male.

Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

Be physically fit.

Exam Pattern

The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each:

Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics

General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section.

Opening Date for Online Registration: 04-05-2013.

Last Date for Online Registration: 03-06-2013.

NDA & NA (II) 2013 Examination Date: 11-08-2013
