Who all are eligible to write the NEET and what are its benefits?
Hi, could you please tell me about the minimum educational qualification requirement to be eligible to write the NEET examination? What are its benefits and usefulness?

NEET is National Eligiblility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board with PCB as main paper. The minimum age limit is 17 years. It is compulsory to appear and qualify in the examination for admission in MBBS and BDS course. |

NEET Eligibility Criteria:
1.Have PASSED 10+2 level board examination with PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS,BIOLOGY AND ENGLISH AS COMPULSORY SUBJECT. 2. Candidates must score minimum marks which is again catagorised as follows: FOR GEN AND GEN EWS CATAGORY : 50 PERCENT MARKS IN PCB FOR SC ST OBC CATAGORY : 40 PERCENT MARKS IN PCB. 3. AGE LIMIT: MINIMUM 17 YEARS AND MAXIMUM 25 YEARS. 4. MUST BE A CITIZEN OF INDIA NRIs (Non-Resident Indians), OCIs (Overseas Citizen of India), PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin) & Foreign Nationals can also apply. BENEFITS: NEET IS THE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR ALL THE MEDICAL COURSES LIKE MBBS , BDS ETC.. AFTER QUALIFYING NEET STUDENTS CAN ALSO APPEAR FOR AIIMS TO GET ADMISSION IN TOP AIIMS COLLEGES ALL OVER INDIA FOR MEDICAL COURSES. |
