respected sir ,
i am jatin , a student of class 10th ..
i am interested in joining indian army ....
but i have a query .......
if i opt for physics , chemistry and biology (p.c.b) in 10+2 scheme , then would i be able to apply for army and give the exams ??

Sure you will be able to apply after a science specialisation. You need to decide the post at which you would like to join. Like whether you would like to NDA or CDSE etc. For each of these there are specific requirement. Also you need to make sure that you are physically fit for the same.

Career option for PCB student

Generally for defence PCM is required

Soldier Nursing Assistant 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject. No Weightage for higher qualification. 17½-23 Years

ARMY As a Career !!

Yes you are Eligibile But not For AIR Force because you will be Writing NDA after 12th or At the Time of Appearing 12 you can Write NDA Exam.

NDA exam has Three Option One is Naval Academy , Secondly Army and Third one is Air Force.

If you want go for Army then its No Problem because For NDA Army You can have Biology But for cracking NDA mathematics is a Subject

in which you need to put Extra efforts from some where like in Coaching for Cracking NDA.

If you want To go ARMY then Its better to take Mathematics because you will have More chances then..

You can Go for TES i.e Technical Entry Scheme after 12 with PCM marks. You can opt For Air force etc etc.

So choose Your own Option if you are Interested Medicals then Take Biology but its no use of choosing Biology in 12th if you are Not opting for Medicals in Future.

Mathematics is A Evergreen Subject one is Deliberately opting for.

you can join Army after 12th with PCM comination through NDA exam.

the eligibility of NDA exam is given below

1.12th with science with PCM combination.

2.minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam.

3.age limit 16.5-19 years.

ARMY AFTER 12th

You can join Indian Army as an officer after the completion of your 12th
through NDA exam. The National Defence Academy Exam(NDA) is conducted
twice in a year .This exam is conducted by the UPSC.

The eligibility criteria required for the NDA exam is given below:

Education Qualification
So for the Army wing in NDA you should be 12th pass in any discipline.
Candidate appeared in the 12th board exam are also eligible to apply
for the NDA exam.

AGE LIMIT
Candidate applyinf for the NDA exam should have age between
16.5 to 19 years.

Height
The minimum height for the NDA exam required is 157.6cm.

NO, you are not eligible after 12th in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

In India, army is the most important part of defence.

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams.

Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years.

Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight: 50 Kg
4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

I think you are not eligible because the qualification criteria is
Age-16 half-19 year
and you must have PCM subjects in 12th...

WHY PCB STUDENT CANNOT DO NDA?

pcb students can apply only for army for navy math and physics is essential

A candidate who has completed 12th class from any stream can apply in the Indian Army. But if want to get higher education then 12th class pass out students are not eligible only the graduate and post graduate students are allowed. Indian Army invites the application through the NDA exam which is to be conducted twice in a year. In this NDA exam only 12th pass students are eligible whose age is not over.

YES you can apply for army.
if you take physics , chemistry and biology as your subject.
by this you will be able to apply for doctors post in army , because you have taken biology as your subject.

no friend, you can not take admission to nda with pcb.
as maths is compulsory. its single paper comes of 300 marks.
but i want to tell you one thing that girls can not apply for nda.
so, you have no need to apply for nda.

nda requirement is of pcm means physics , chemistry and maths .
even paper of maths comes of 300 marks. about 120 questions.

nda prepares officers of army , navy and air force. these all comes from pcm.

because the minimum educational qualification for indian army through NDA(national defence academy) is 12th degree or equivalent for army.and with physic & maths for navy & air force.

the age limit for this examination is
16.5-19. there is no kind of age relaxation for SC\SR\OBC candidates.

I am sorry to say that girl are not allowed in the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit
> Only boys are eligible for N.D.A
There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

If any girl want to join the Indian Army they can apply after graduation through
C.D.S exam conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
