in second councling til 1000 of state rank r called. . it seems les chance of ur 2 be calked. sry but u wilnt be getng nit.

Admission in the NIT Rourkela after scoring 1402 in AIEEE.

If you have 1402 rank in AIEEE then you will get surely a good college

through AIEEE counselling. Your All India Rank is good so please attend

in the counselling of AIEEE. I think your state rank is also good. According

to new rule of Central Board of Secondary Education every NIT college

gives 50% reservation in the home state NIT college to the home state

residential candidates. So you can also get admission in the home state

NIT college. I think you can get a top college under AIEEE.

As you have scored 1402 rank in the general category all over India so you will get good branch as well as the top NIT colleges like that of the NIT warrangal and the NIT trichy and others ..

And as you are keen to get the seat in the NIT Rourkela .
May i tell you that depending on your rank you will get every branch which you want in the NIT Rourkela in the 1st round of counseling ..

Just do the online counseling of the AIEEE properly from the website ::
http://www.ccb.nic.in

and wait for the first round of the seat allotment after the 23rd of June 2011 .

Allotment of AIEEE seat is done based on AIR and not state rank.

There are chances you may get it. Lets wait and watch for the counselling soon.

as your rank in AIEEE is 1402 which is very good rank, you will surely get NIT ROURKELA

you will also get seat in NIT WARANGAL, NIT TRICHY, NIT SURATHKAL,NIT NAGPUR which
