Judiciary can only be a worthwhile option , for those like you with an inclination towards the Public Service / trapping of the state Authority .
If offers the satisfaction of working for the good of society-an intellectually simulating profession where you shall command the respect of the common man .

Basically there are two avenues open to become a member of Judiciary .

>> Start a litigation practice and hope to get elevated to the bench .
>> Other way is to participate in the competitive process for the judicial services .

Usually the Judiciary services have “ TWO ENTRY LEVELS “ .

I). Fresh Graduates through an entrance exam conducted by the respective state public service commissions
II). High Court ( Delhi )

The second option is , you may join the judicial service as Higher Judicial Service .
This service is open for lawyers with a certain prescribed minimum years of litigating practice, usually seven .You have to appear for competitive examination for entry to the Higher Judicial Service .

The syllabus for the above exams include Law Subjects along with english , General Knowledge , Local language of the state .
There is a good scope in Judiciary .And the various posts are giving you below --

→ Magistrate
→ District and Sessions Judge

→ Public Prosecutor
→ Attorney General
