The Gross Salary for an Army Soldier is Rs.15600 to Rs. 39100 per month.

You will be paid a salary of 12000 and above per month after all the cuttings.

Educational Qualification :- The minimum qualification of army person pass the 10+2 level.

STARTING PAY RS 15600/- to 39100/-PM And other Facilities are as Follows :

1. GRADE PAY RS 5400/-
2. MILITARY SERVICE PAY RS 6000/-
3. KIT MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE Rs 400/-pm
4. TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE RS 1600/- PM to RS 3200 ppm/-
5. FIELD AREA ALLOWANCE RS 25% of Basic Pay RS6780/- pm
6.LIFE LONG PENSION
7.ANNUAL LEAVE TWO MONTHS & CASUAL LEAVE 20 DAYS.
8.FREE MEDICAL- SELF AND FAMILY IN WELL EQUIPPED MILITARY HOSPITALS. etc....

A 10th class pass candidate is eligible to apply for the following posts in Indian Army -

General Duty Soldier
Tradesman Soldier

The above two posts will be filled through open recruitment rally system .

Candidates have to appear in that rally with necessary documents i.e. 10th class mark sheet, domicile etc...

You have to be physically strong to complete the physical task .

If you are selected then you can serve the nation by working as a soldier in Indian Army .

But if you join the ARMY as an Officer then it will be nearly 50,000 per month + a lots of benefits and perks.

Hello dear aspirant , the initial pay for the soldier in the Indian Army totally depends on your Commission i.e:

>> If you join Indian Army as a Commissioned officer then your Initial pay will be around 26000 INR, i.e if you are recruited through NDA, TES, UES, SSC, etc.

>> If you join Indian Army as a Non-Commissioned offices then your initial pay will be around 12000INR i.e recruited through recruitment rally after 12th

Assuming the question deals with PAY, the Military, not just the Army pays accoring to RANK and TIME IN SERVICE brackets. The higher the rank, the more the pay. The longer the time in service, the more pay (up to a limit).
