You can choose any paper as option for BPSC Mains examination.

Examination is conducted in three stages. Three stages are :- Preliminary, Mains and Personal Interview.

Yes, Economics student should appear in BPSC exam.

You should appear and prepare for BPSC examination with Economics or relevant subjects.

Don't go for Geography subject if you are not much confident about Geography subject.

Prepare with Economics subject and choose Economics as main subject in examination to crack it with ease.

Yes, Economics student should appear in BPSC exam because according to BPSC eligibility criteria you just need to have graduation or equivalent degree from a government recognised University.
The BPSC educational eligibility criteria do not to mention a specialised field or a minimum marks in graduation. The only VPS educational criteria is to have a graduation degree from a recognised institute.

The selection process of BPSC is based on the preliminary exam, main exam and interview.

✓ No, you need to pass graduation or any equivalent degree for BPSC exam. For Example if you are in your final year in 2020–21 and you want to appear for BPSC 2021. You can do so if you get your passing certificate before the the day when BPSC 2021's registration process is over.
