Hello sir, I have completed BCA with good marks and studying in MCA final year. I belong to Jharkhand and I want to apply for BPSC exam. Can I appear in BPSC exam if I have no domecile of Bihar? Seat available in BPSC for outer candidate?

Yes, you may apply for the BPSC.

According to the eligibility criteria released by the UPSC :

* The candidate should be a citizen of India.

* The candidate should have completed graduation through any stream under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least form a recognized university.

* The candidate should be of 21 years at least at the time of application.

* The candidate should be physically and medically fit.

There are only 10% seats for the outside candidates i.e. candidates not belonging to Bihar.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application and it is two year duration course.

The eligibility to appear for BPSC examination is :-

Candidate must have minimum bachelor degree from any recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 20-37 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

So, with domicile of Jharkhand and master degree educational qualification you are eligible to appear for BPSC examination. To get more information about examination visit at www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Sir I was born in 1998 in undivided Bihar. But now I live in jharkhand. But my parents have properties in Bihar. Am I eligible for bpsc?

Can I give bpsc by just studying the topics which are common in upsc and bpsc? Can I qualify by this strategy?
