Hello, I have done BEd in Mathematics and I want to apply for Trained Graduate Teacher post in APPSC. Can I eligible to apply for this post? Also let me know about the age limit for applying in the same post.

The basic eligibility criteria and age criteria required to apply for this APPSC Trained Graduate Teacher Recruitment is as follows,

>> You should have passed 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in Arts or Commerce or Science from a recognized university with B.Ed course.

>> As you are done with B.Ed in Mathematics, if you are done with Bachelor's Degree in any of the above mentioned courses then i can say that you are certainly eligible to apply for this recruitment.

>> Minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 33 years in order to be eligible.

If you have got graduate degree with second class and a B.Ed degree in concerned subject, then surely you will be eligible for APPSC TGT post.

For TGT posts, your age should be between 18 to 33 years. There is age relaxation available according to the category, you belong to.

APPSC has published notification regarding vacancies in TGT and PGT teachers posts. There are total 667 vacancies including 127 vacancies for PGT teachers and 540 vacancies for TGT teachers. Eligibility criteria is given below.

Candidates should complete graduation and 2 year B.Ed course to be eligible to apply for TGT exam conducted by APPSC.

>> Age Limit -->
Upper age limit is 35 years and Lower age limit is 18 years.

Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in Arts/Science/Commerce stream with minimum 50% to 60% marks from a recognized college/university are eligible to apply for Trained Graduate Teacher post in APPSC. The age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and can apply upto the age of 33 years.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for APPSC Trained Graduate Teacher recruitment after completing B.Ed.(Mathematics) graduate. You can only apply for TGT posts, as you are not eligible for PGT posts.

Eligibility and age limit to apply in APPSC Trained Graduate Teacher recruitment for B.Ed.(Mathematics) graduate :

For PGT Posts : Candidate must have Master Degree in respective subject with 2nd class from any recognized University along with B.Ed.

For TGT Posts : Candidate must have Bachelor Degree in Science / Commerce / Arts with 2nd class from any recognized University along with B.Ed.

Age of PGT candidates must be between 18 to 35 years and age of TGT candidate must be between 18 to 33 years as on 9 July, 2018.
Relaxation in upper age limit is as follows :

• For APST : 5 years
• For Arunachal Pradesh Government employees : 5 years
• For PwD candidates : 10 years
