Eligibility to apply in IBPS exams for B.E. Mechanical Engineer?


Sir, I have completed B.E. in Mechanical Engineering last year. I would like to know that I am eligible to give IBPS exams or not? I have secured 7.11 CGPA in my B.E. So, kindly tell me my eligibility regarding IBPS.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for IBPS Examinations:

Of course yes. You are very certainly eligible to apply for IBPS based examination's after successful completion of B.E in Mechanical Engineering. There is a certain educational qualification required to be eligible and the details are as follows,

>> Candidates must have completed Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

>> There is not even certain percentage criteria in order to be eligible. As you are successfully passed Graduation, you are certainly eligible.

>> As any discipline in Graduation is allowed, you are eligible to apply for this IBPS based recruitment's after securing 7.11 CGPA in B.E.

>> The minimum age required is 20 years and the maximum age must not exceed 28 years in order to be eligible. There will be an age relaxation application for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

The full form of IBPS is Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written examination.

IBPS conducts common written examination for post of Clerk and Probationary officer. The eligibility criteria:

1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the examination.

2. You should have minimum passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree.

You can apply for IBPS exam after Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for IBPS examination after completion of your B.E Mechanism Engineering course. Candidate who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university are eligible to apply for IBPS examination. The minimum age required to apply for IBPS examination is 20 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. No specific percentage criteria is required to apply for IBPS examination. Since, you have scored 7.11 aggregate marks in your B.E course, you are eligible to apply for IBPS examination.

After completing your Bachelor of Engineering you can apply for IBPS.

IBPS institute which have been conducted the IBPS entrance exam you can get the bank job post.

Eligibility for the IBPS exam:

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognized university.

The age limit to appear varies with examination.

For specialist officer bachelor degree in specific discipline is required.

You must be a citizen of India.

The eligibility to apply for IBPS Common Written examination for Clerk and Probationary officer:

Academic qualification: It is same for both posts. It is bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering can apply for exam if they have 40% marks in it.

Age criteria for Clerical post: 20-28 years.

Age criteria for PO posts: 20-30 years.

You are eligible with 7.11 CGPA in Bachelor of Engineering.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for IBPS examination. IBPS conducts entrance examination for recruitment on various posts.

There is no limitation on aggregate and discipline of bachelor degree to appear for examination.

The age limit varies with examination ( Clerk, PO etc..). Candidates have to qualify for all stages of examination for final selection. For detail information about examination visit at www.ibps.in.

Since, you have completed your B.E in Mechanical Engineering, you are eligible to appear in the IBPS examination.
Candidates those who have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University can very much appear in the IBPS examination.
Candidates age must be in between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination.

Having completed your bachelor of engineering degree in Mechanical engineering stream with 7.11 CGPA you are certainly eligible for appearing in IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) bank examinations for the post of bank clerk and bank probationary officer as per your educational qualification.

Apart from your educational qualification for appearing in IBPS bank examinations for the above-mentioned posts you need to hold the nationality of India with your age lying within 20 years to 28 years for bank clerk post and 20 years to 30 years for bank PO post. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates in both cases as per the government norms.

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. The eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk and Probationary officer examination:

>>Candidate must be graduate or in final year of bachelor's degree to apply for the examination. Discipline does not matter.

>>The age criteria for clerk is 20-28 years and that for PO is 20-30 years.

Mechanical engineering candidate with 7.11 CGPA can apply for IBPS examination for both posts.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS exam are:

1. Candidate must be passed Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognized university.

2. Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

3. Candidate age must lie in between 20 to 30 years for Bank PO.

4. Relaxation is allowed for reserved category.

So, you have to fulfill the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible for this exam.

Dear Aspirant,

Eligibility to IBPS Exam

1) You should have a bachelor degree in any stream
2) You must be a Indian citizen
3) You must be 20 to 30 Years but Age relaxation is available for OBC and SC candidates

IBPS conducts Clerical and PO Exams, Since the bachelor degree is enough to apply for the exams you are eligible to appear for IBPS exams.

Please be known of other Exams that can also get you a job in Banking sector

All the Private banks conduct their own exam you can appear for that too and the syllabus for the exam is also same to that of IBPS Exam

SBI conducts separate exam to hire employees to the SBI branches

RRBs also have their own exam to hire employees to the branches
