I am currently studying in class twelve and next year I will appear for my ISC. Sir I have a great desire for joining the Indian Para Commando. So I wanted to know whether I can join the para commando after my 12th.

PARA COMMANDOS is the Elite force of INDIAN ARMY like the GUARD OF INDIAN AIR FORCE and MARCOS of INDIAN NAVY.

So friend if you wanted to be a Para Commando you have to first of all join INDIAN ARMY as a Soldier or as a Officer.


Eligibility :

You have to complete the 10Th & +2 or any equivalent examination and there is no relaxation for the other caste

Age limit should be You should not crosses the maximum age limit of 23 years and have the minimum age limit of 18 years

Physical Details :

Your eyesight should be Normal and no defects
Your eye sight should be 6/6

You must be Indian citizen
Your height should be Minimum of 157 cm

To join in para commando, one has to appear for National defence examination (NDA) after the completion of class 12 from a recognized university.

Para commandos come under a separate wing of Indian army.

If the candidate has qualified in NDA then he has to choose Indian army and the graduation is completed and training is done. After successful completion of training one will become a part of the Indian army.

Aspirants can join in para command by appearing for an 6 months training and also can go through experience.

Eligibility for the NDA:
Education Qualification:
1.You must be passed the intermediate with physics and math.

Age:
age must be between the 16.5 to 20 years.
5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST caste.
3 years age relaxation for the OBC caste.

Nationality:
you must be Indian citizen.

Physically fitness:
Height: men height must be 157 cms.
weight : weight should not be more then 55 kg.

Three branches in the Air force:
1.Flying Branch
2, Technical Branch
3.Ground duty branch

Selection process:
1.Written test (NDA)
2.Interview
3.Physically test

I went to open indian army rally at bundi district which held on 1 december 2014 and i am rejected because i have two point in my medical examination..
1. Deformity in left index finger.

hello friend

1. If you want to join in para commando military forces after 12th there is a selection process that is conducted by the union Public Service Commission

2. The notification was early to twice by the UPSC in the process of 10 + 2 Technical entry scheme and you have to complete your intermediate in MPC with minimum percentage of 60

3. The selection process is based on the highest percentage in 10 + 2 and SSB interview this interview is consist of 5 days there are three centres for conducting SSB interview

4. And also there is an another process which is also conducted by the UPSC early twice that is CDS examination this examination consists of written examination and SSB interview and this you SSB interview is also 5 days and it was also 3 centres

5. The selection list is based on merit list and b category wise who got highest percentage in the examination and interview they'll go for training at Indian Military Academy Dehradun
