How is BE 60%? Is it the percentage of all semester or it is marks of final year, especially for applying govt job


most of pvt job & govt job marks criteria 60%in BE. I wanted know that is BE60% is marks for final year or it is average marks of all semesters.
Govt job likewise (psu, railway, DMRC, etc)
Pvt job companies like(L&T, HCC, DLF)

Overall percentage is considered wherever the aggregate is calculated.

So, you will have to consider the marks in all 8 semester of the examination.

Yes, It is the average percentage of all semester.

You must have secured minimum 6 CGPA/60% ( average of all semester) at the end of 8th semester.

If you had secured average of minimum 60% in BE than only you are eligible for most of the government recruitment.

See in govt jobs like PSU banks, Railway, DMRC, they only want a graduation degree from a recognised university. But in RBI bank recruitments, they want minimum 60% in graduation. This minimum 60% marks is avg of all the 8 semesters.

Pvt job companies like L&T, HCC etc, they do recruitment in the basis of Interview and the minimum qualification they asked is graduation in the concerned Engineering Field. So, don't worry about marks percentage.
