If I am selected for Ticket Collector can I get my older pay scale?


I am working as postal assistant with grade pay 2400 if i am selected for ticket collector with gp 1900 can i get my older pay scale

Candidates joining Indian railways as a ticket collector will currently earn approximately Rs. 27000/- per month. As the Government is going to initiate 7th CPC very soon, Ticket collectors will start earning a salary of approximately Rs. 36000/- per month.

Existing Pay-scale:-

Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 + Rs. 1900 Grade pay.

Pay scale after 7th CPC:-

Rs. 15600 – Rs. 60600 + Rs. 5700 Grade pay.
