How can I become a RTO officer?


Respected Sir, I have studied in third year of diploma in mechanical engineering in NMU, Jalgaon. I want to become a RTO officer after completing my diploma. Am I eligible to become a RTO officer? Please give me detail about eligibility criteria, selection procedure, which books to be refer, how to prepare for exam my email id is [email protected].

RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer.

State Public Service Commission make recruitment for the post of RTO .

The recruitment in RTO is made for following three different posts:-

*Clerk post

*Sub Assistant engineer post

*Judicial service Post

Eligibility criteria to apply for different posts are as under :-

RTO Clerk post :

Academic qualification : 12th class in any discipline from a recognized central or state board.

Age limit : 18 years to 37 years.

RTO Sub Assistant Engineer post :

Academic qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ).

Age limit : 23 years to 32 years.

RTO Judicial service post:

Academic qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Law .

Age limit : 23 years to 34 years.

Selection Procedure :

Preliminary Examination.

Main Examination.

Interview.

Respected sir, i'm studying in third year mechanical engineering at walchand college of engineering, sangli. I have no degree yet. so, can i give RTO exam now or i have to first pursue degree?
