Eligibility, criteria, selection procedure, reference books and preparation tips to become an RTO Officer?


I am studying in third year of diploma in mechanical engineering. I want to become an RTO officer after completing my diploma. Am I eligible to become an RTO officer? Please give me details about eligibility criteria, selection procedure, which books to refer, how to prepare for exam, etc

There are 3 types of posts in a Regional Transport Office.

->Clerk post
->Assistant Engineer post
->Judicial post

Eligibility for Clerk post:
->You should be a citizen of India.
->Your age must be in between 21 to 35 years.
->You should have completed your graduation from any recognized board.

Eligibility for Assistant Engineer post:
->You should be a citizen of India.
->Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years.
->You should have completed bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from any recognized board.

Eligibility for Judicial post:
->You should be a citizen of India.
->Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years.
->You should have completed a bachelor's degree in Law from any recognized board.

Selection procedure:
Selection is done through written test and interview.

->MPSC: Manav Sansadhan Vikas aani Manavadhikar - by B.S Waghmare
->Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning - by A.S Agarwal
->Logical Reasoning - by S. Chand
->Current Affairs - by Pragathi Priyojna
->General Knowledge - by Arihant publications

Preparation for the exam:
->You can go through the reference books for your preparation.
->Practice reasoning and aptitude questions.
->You can also join coaching centers and you can take their guidelines.

What's the physical criteria for rto examination? Is there any percentage criteria?
