For becoming an RTO officer, you need to be a graduate in mechanical engineering.
The selection is based on the examination which is being conducted by the RTO itself.
Moreover, I would like to tell you that the examination is held at a time depending upon the vacancies which are available.
Whenever there are vacancies for the RTO officer, the notification is released and then the examination is been conducted.
In general it is been conducted within a span of 2-3 years.
Also, there is the criteria which says that you should be having a work experience of at least one year in the automobile or production sector.

Hi,

There are various posts in RTO exam. The basic qualification required is 12th pass with minimum pass percentage of 60.

The various posts are:

* clerical
* sub assistant
* engineering

In engineering the minimum qualification is B.Tech with 60% score in (Mech/Civil/Electrical)

As you are doing your 2nd yr now, you can concentrate more in engineering grade exam. Start preparing for that.

All the best!!!
