I'm completed BE mechanical. I want to become an RTO officer. But don't have more information about eligibility/criteria to become rto officer.
Sir, plz send me requirement to become rto officer.

The acronym for RTO is Regional Transport Officer. To become an RTO officer, you need to appear for the exam and you must fulfill the following requirements :-

Eligibility Criteria :-

-->You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.

-->Age Limit :- 21-35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable as per the government rules.

-->You must be a citizen of India.

Examination Pattern :-

1.Preliminary Exam
2.Mains Exam
3.Personal Interview

Since you have completed your graduation in B.E mechanical from a recognised university, then you can appear for the RTO exam. If you qualify in all the rounds of the RTO exam, then you can become a RTO officer.

To become a RTO officer the qualification which you need are:

# Candidate should have a Citizenship in India

For Clerk Post:

# The candidate must have a age limit 18-37 years

# Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a Degree from a recognized university.


For Judicial Post:

# Age limit needed for the exam is 23-35 years

# Education qualification needed for the post is that the candidate should have a Degree from a recognized university.


For Sub Assistant Post:

# The age limit needed for the post is that the candidate should have more than 34 years

# Education qualification needed is that the candidate must have a Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.

To become RTO officer you need following qualification
Qualifications required for RTO Officer are:

Nationality:
Indian or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan

Educational Qualifications:
Must have a graduation degree in any stream in any recognized college/University.

Age limit:
The age limit for RTO officer is 18-32 years
Age relaxation is provide for reserved candidates
3 years for OBC
5 years for Sc/St

You should know the language of the particular state in which you are applying the job.
You should write the written test conducted by PSU of the particular state or UPSC.

It is similar to the CBI officer recruitment exam. You can check that CBI officer exam details. Since you have completed your graduation in B.E mechanical from a recognized university, then you can appear for the RTO exam. If you qualify in all the rounds of the RTO exam, then you can become a RTO officer.

Thanks for the details. I thought a degree in automobile Engineering was required to apply for RTO.
