I want to join the military nursing service. But i am willing to join the service as a commisioned officer. I have completed my bsc (nursing) course. So tell me how can i join the service?

One has to appear for Military Nursing Service Exam conducted by SSC (Short Service Commission) to join Military Nursing Service. On successful completion of training,a candidate is appointed as permanent or Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service .

Eligibility criteria to apply for the exam are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The candidate should hold B.Sc / M.Sc in nursing / post certificate B.Sc (nursing ) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.

-The candidate age must be in between 19 years to 35 years.

-A single/unmarried/widow/divorcee candidate can apply for the exam .

Selection of candidates are made based on the performance in written test, interview and physical test.

Syllabus for the exam :-

General English

General Knowledge

Physics

Chemistry and

Biology .

Without writing written exam can we give direct interviews for MNS? And if our father is serving in navy can we get any benefits for that??
