I am aspiring to be a District Collector. SO can you please tell me about the salary on this post. Please help.

A District Collector gets salary of

Basic Pay: Rs 23,640

D.A. (@65%): Rs 15,366

H.R.A.(@30%): Rs 7,092

T.A.: 5,280

Total: Rs 51,378

The basic salary increases at the rate of 3% per annum. There is increment in D.A. of average 10% to 14%. The salary of a collector gets doubled after each 7 to 9 years.

Salary of District Collector.

-> For Junior Scale:

Pay Band: Rs 15600-39100
Grade Pay Rs 5400

-> Senior Scales:

Pay Band: Rs 15600-39100
Grade Pay Rs 6600.

-> Super Time Scale :

Pay Band: Rs 37400-67000
Grade Pay Rs 10000

Salary of District Collector :

Pay band : Rs.15,600-39,100/-
Grade pay : Rs. 6600/-

I am going to appear on HS and I am interested to become a district collector, so please tell me what should I do now and also after HS
