How to study to become an IFS officer if I am in class 9th?
My question is to ask you for some tips on how to become a successful IFS officer if I am in class 9th right now. Which method of study should I go for becoming an IFS officer?

Procedure to study to become an IFS officer if you are in class 9th can be seen below.
You should choose Arts as stream for intermediate. You should study history, international relation, Sociology and politics during intermediate. Choose BA course in relevant subjects and be proficient in international relations. Apply for UPSC IFS examination after graduation. Go through examination and interview to secure position. Final selection will be done merit list. |

You should pursue a graduation first from any university.
To become an IFS officer, one must crack the tough CSE (Civil Services Examination). This examination is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Satisfy the eligibility criteria. Appear for UPSC CSE examination. Clear preliminary examination. Clear mains examination. Clear the interview. |

First you must fulfill the eligibility criteria. The candidates who are willing to be an IFS officer should be either of the following
> Citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan > The candidate should be a graduate or have a degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree from any of the recognised University. > The minimum age is 21 years but the maximum is 30 years as per the norms. Preparation tips:- > Study thoroughly through textbooks and practice writing model answers > get a hold of a previous year question papers and try formulating correct and precise answers. > you have to be proficient in English as the questions are set and to be answered only in English. > Fr the general English paper, practice comprehensions, essays and vocabulary exercises from any standard grammar. > Your answer should be analytical, precise and systematic. |
