Hi. I want to become an IFS officer and I have searched a lot about civil service exams but I am confused as they have different optional papers and some linguistic papers.. so I want to know all about them.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Services and to be an IFS officer you are required to qualify the Civil Services examination held by UPSC once every year.

As far as you are concerned about the past year question papers for the Civil Services examination, you can access it by referring to the link www.upsc.gov.in and referring to the Previous Question Papers section.

2. Click on the option of download sample papers.

3. Select the year of the paper.

4. Then, click on the download option to download the papers.

Sample papers of different subjects and different years will come up. The candidate has to select the year and subject and click on the download button to download the papers.
