Hello sir, I have completed Civil Engineering and can't clear GATE exam. Please tell me is there any job opportunities in government sector for me? List of core government companies?

Public Sector Undertaking is the best option for Civil engineers to get placed in core companies and in government sector with handsome package. There are some PSUs where GATE is compulsory and some PSUs conduct its own written test and interview for selection of candidates. As you have not cleared GATE exam, you will have to apply for following PSUs and clear written test and interview to grab job.

>>Coal India Limited: Minimum of 60% marks in Bachelor of technology.

>>Oil and Natural Gas Corporation limited.

>>Steel Authority of India Limited.

>>Vizag Steel Plant.

Other than these, you can apply for Indian Engineering Services exam, SSC Senior engineer entrance exam, RRB entrance exam to get placed in core companies of Civil engineering.
