Hey friend,

NO,you are not eligible in joining in jobs in Railways with a age of 50 years.

REASON:

The reason for it is that you need to write the entrance exam for joining in posts in Railways and the exams which you can write in order to join in them are many and the exam would include such as RRB Exam

RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Board and this exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates for various posts in Railways.

The railway recruitment exam is conducted every year and the exam is held for both Technical and Non-technical .

There are certain eligibility criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to be eligible and they may include such as :

# The candidate should have a age limit of 18-30 years and there are certain amount of relaxation which is allowed.

# For candidate who belongs to SC/ST it is 18-35 years and for OBC candidate it is 18-33 years.

# The education qualification which is needed is that the candidate must have completed a Degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage for Technical category and in the case of joining in Non-Technical category means the candidate should have completed +2 with Physics and Maths as subjects.


If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the RRB Exam but as you are not satisfying the age limit needed for the exam you are ineligible for applying.
