I want to if certain changes are made to up pcs syllabus.?

Kindly give latest syllabus of up pcs (pre,main) including some tips on interview.

Syllabus for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Examination,

Prelims:

• Current Affairs.
• General Knowledge questions from,

1. Indian Geography and World Geography.
2. Indian Constitution and Governing Systems.
3. Issues relating to the Environment and Ecology.
4. General Science.
5. Economics and Social Development issues and more.

Total Marks: 200 and Time Allotted: 2 hours.

Mains:

Paper I:

It has 2 sections.

Section I: Essay for 200 Marks.
Section II: English Precise and English Comprehension for 100 Marks.

Paper II:

In this objective type questions are asked from,

• Indian Heritage and Culture.
• History.
• Geography.

Total Marks: 250

Paper III:

It has question from General Studies which includes topics as,

• Constitution.
• Politics.
• Social Justice.
• Indian Heritage.
• Culture and World.

Total Marks: 250

Paper IV:

In this questions are asked from,

• Economic Development.
• Disaster Management.
• Technology.
• Environment.
• Bio Diversity and
• Security.

Total Marks: 250

Paper V:

This paper covers questions from,

• Integrity.
• Aptitude and
• Ethics.

Total marks: 250

Paper VI:

This paper has questions from the subject as chosen by the candidate.

Total Marks: 250

Later, after this exam, you will be called for Personality Test and Interview.
This will be followed by the Personality Test/ Interview which will be held for all the written qualified candidates only.

Total marks for written exam: 1800
Total Interview marks: 275

• Prepare Current Affairs regarding National and International Events.
• Know about current statistics all over India and particular state of Uttar Pradesh.
• Be Confident in what you are saying.
• Always maintain an eye contact with interviewer.
