The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was set up on April 1937. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is regulated by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. The commission has a prolific campus at Allahabad, and a Camp Office in Lucknow. The Commission has two Examination Centers in Lucknow and Allahabad respectively and these are spacious enough to accommodate more candidates. The commission includes 8 members and a chairman. The U.P. Public Service Commission recruits candidates either through interview only, or screening test & Interview, or examination only, or examination & interview, or through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination & Interview.

Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh (UP) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Unani Medical Officer in Government Unani Hospitals at U.P.

Pay Scale – Pay-band-3, Rs.15600-39100 + Grade-pay of Rs. 5400.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – Candidates must be between the age group of 21 and 35 years for applying to the post of Unani Medical Officer at Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Qualification – The candidates must a degree in Unani Tib from a recognized University; or   five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib from the Indian Medicine Board, UP. The candidates must have registered as a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, UP. The candidates must have at least six month’s professional experience of State Unani or Allopathic Hospital or Dispensary. Post Graduate degree in Unani Tib from a recognized institution is preferred.

Selection Process:

The selection of the post is through interview.

Application Fee:

Application fee of Rs. 80 (For Unreserved General, and other Backward Class), Rs. 40 (For SC/ ST) must be paid in any of the branches of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank through E-Challan. There is no fee for physically handicapped candidates.
