To become a DSP you will need to write the Civil service exam which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and the exam is IPS Exam

You cannot join directly as DSP you need to write the Civil Service exam and to be eligible for applying for the exam you need to satisfy the following:

>> You must have a Citizenship in India

>> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate should have 21-30 years of age.

>> There are certain relaxation which are allowed and they are for SC/ST it is 21-35 years and for OBC it is 21-33 years

>> Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate should have completed a Degree from a recognized university.


If you satisfy all these criteria then you can apply for the exam and you can apply for the exam in 2 modes such as:

# ONLINE
# OFFLINE
