I would like to know how to become a NSG Commander?
Can you tell me what are the required qualification?
Please tell me the procedure.

Dear if you are interested to become a NSG commander you should not have a direct recruitment. NSG Commanders will be selected based on the Experience in their entire career as CRPF , BSF, SAG or CPF departments.

According to the level of experience and merit they will be shortlisted for the post of NSG Commander.

Before applying for NSG you must be worked at any Defense sectors like Indian Army, Indian Air Force or Indian Navy. Or you don't have any chance to apply for these departments you can apply for UPSC Civils Examination.

Through Civil's you will have a chance to get in to the various officer range positions in the cadre of NSG.

Or else you can also apply for CDS examination to get a experience in the defense wings. or this you should fulfill some eligibility criteria.

1.You should complete at least graduation from the recognized university.

2.Age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

3.Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved candidates.

After selection process you will be alloted a rank for your position. After that you will get experience in the particular cadre. Thus you will have a chance to apply for the NSG Commander.

If you want to become a Commando in NSG - National Security Guards then let me know you better about this recruitment that, there is no recruitment procedure conducted by any commission in India to appoint NSG commands directly means no direct recruitment is available.

Commandos in NSG are recruited through Indian Armed Force and Para Military Forces that means a candidate working as a Commando in Para Military Forces or in Army may be appointed as an NSG Commando.

First of all you need to clear entrance exam like CDS or CPF examination conducted by UPSC board and when you join the service after completion of all the stages then you are posted for training in various areas and there is a particular period of training process you need to clear.

When you complete the training then you may be asked for training of NSG guards/ commandos and that training is called the toughest training because NSG commandos are appointed for emergency operations/ rescue operations/ security of VIPs/ Bomb Diffusion cases etc. that is why they are trained as per requirement and a candidate passing the complete training procedure is appointed as a NSG Commando.

So to apply for CDS/ CPF exam, you need to have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university and candidates pursuing final year of degree are also eligible to apply and age must not be more than 23 years.
