Re: Scope of teaching jobs in Govt. colleges after Clearing NET and MA in Tourism?
You have completed MA in Tourism and you should know that there is a subject/ branch/ discipline of Tourism Administration and Management to choose in NET entrance test as specialization so you have a grand opportunity to make your career better in this field because Tourism is a field in which a candidate having master's degree can not stay without a good or a dream job because every single part of the world is under Tourism and not only Central Government of India but also other state governments conduct recruitment for various posts like - Tourism Manager, Travel Manager, Assistant Tourism Manager etc. posts so you should not worry about your career because it is secure at every side.
You want to make your career in teaching field with this subject so you should know that you will get the job of Lecturer or Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Guest Professor or Guest Faculty in various government/ private colleges/ institutes/ universities. First of all you need to apply for NET test and qualify it with good marks and after that you should apply for any one of these posts when recruited and appear for interview process and qualify the interview as well. If you qualify interview process then you will become a teacher under any category mentioned and start your career with a great job of lecturer or assistant professor. There is one more way that you need to follow if you really want to earn a lot of knowledge, success and respect in your life in teaching field because a candidate having great knowledge of any particular subject can get huge success. After getting job, apply for PhD - Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism and this would be completed in minimum 2.5 years of duration and if you complete PhD then you will get a lot of knowledge about this field and you will become a Professor of Tourism Department in a educational institute and after getting experience of minimum 05 years of teaching in this field. M.Phil is also an option after getting job because some universities like - IGNOU and other reputed wants a candidate having passed in M.Phil to get admission in PhD so if possible then pursue PhD directly otherwise go for M.Phil then go for PhD but you do have to choose the same field which was the specialization of your master's degree. |
